When Love Magick becomes a Curse

Cast your mind for a moment, to the topic of love spells.  What images come to mind? poppets and honey jars? red hearts and pink roses? What do you feel? the warmth of romantic memories? The excitement of endless possibilities?

Now think about curses/hexes/baneful Magick.  Do you think of voodoo dolls and coffin boxes? Sickness, pain, hatred and destruction? Do you feel anger or perhaps fear when you think of those things? Perhaps you feel nothing but disbelief and amusement at such ‘superstitious nonsense’.

What if I told you that Magick is real.  Its authenticity is no less invalidated by its invisibility than the networks that allow our cell phones to connect us to others on the other side of the globe. What if I also told you, that love Magick is real, and the effects can be beautiful and terrible.  It is perhaps the most complicated Magick of all, and if misused its effects can be devastating on the target, the caster and those connected.

As a species, we are obsessed with love.   We are as intrigued by television shows like ‘Love Island’ today as the people of ancient Egypt were fascinated with the affair between Cleopatra and Marc Anthony.  Quite simply, we love a good love story, but the greatest love stories of all time contain the same ingredients that see a generation glued to their screens watching ‘Love Island’ and ‘Married at First Sight’.  They are never straight forward or smooth sailing.  There are no Shakespearean depictions of a scene, in which boy meets girl, families get along, couple marry and live happily ever after.  No doubt, such scenarios are lived out every day across the world, but they will never inspire the kind of passion behind a love song that lasts generations, nor a poem recited for centuries.  Such poetry and scripts, that inspire and grip us, see love, lust and passion woven together with rejection, unrequited feelings, betrayal, loss, pain and often violence.

When it comes to love, it is not the light or the tenderness that grips us, it is the journey of fear, vulnerability, jealousy, obsession and rage. It is the conflict and the betrayal, the pain and the passion that courses through the veins of the love story, giving it life.  We are fascinated to watch the unfolding of events and the aftermath of emotions that we would never want to go through ourselves, or perhaps that we have been through and so, it gives us comfort to know that we are not alone.

There is a fine line between love and hate as both are fuelled by the same level of passion.  We feel both, with a whole heart and these emotions and the people we attach them to become the centre of our universe.  It is called ‘Love sickness’ for a reason.  Heartbreak has been scientifically proven to produce real physical damage to the nervous system.  I don’t know many people who have not experienced heartbreak, and it is undoubtedly the most horrific pain imaginable.  It’s little wonder then that we will go to extremes to ease that pain and behave in ways that are extreme and out of character.  Love can drive a person to do the most wonderful and the most terrible things.

For most, these matters are complicated enough.  When we add witchcraft into the mix, they become explosive.  Of all the things we wish to control and manipulate with Magick, perhaps Love is the most complex of all.  We can become so fixated on a yearning for reciprocated feelings, that we cast love spells on people who have been removed from our life by the very spirits that protect us.  We cast obsession spells which long outlive our romantic interest in the person we cast them on.  Now that truly is a curse for them and perhaps for us, depending on how obsessive they continue to be, years later.

To the average observer, love Magick appears deceptively harmless compared to curses.  The truth is however, that it can be deadly.  Obsession spells can lead to violent acts when the obsessive love turns to psychotic jealousy.  Break up spells (even unsuccessful ones) can disrupt or affect unions that have been created and are protected by Gods and Goddesses.  Unions that have a purpose far beyond the couple themselves.  As such, attempts to harm this union can lead to what some might describe as ‘karmic backlash’ and a living hell for the caster.

So, when is love Magick a good idea?  Don’t get me wrong, there are cases in which it can be a magnificent thing to watch.  My favourite of all was spellwork I did for a client when her marriage was troubled by another woman.  Divination reassured me that it was in everyone’s best interest that I help this couple, and now I see them happy, together with their children in pictures and it gives joy to my heart.  As for the other woman, she will have learned valuable lessons and is now free to pursue happiness with the right person.

In situations where there is an existing attraction or relationship, sweetening spells can produce harmony in difficult times and offer protection and a counteracting effect if the couple is being targeted by unjustified baneful Magick.  Obsession spells can allow a couple a window of opportunity for real emotional bonds to be forged.  Like Cinderella’s pumpkin the results won’t last forever and if a bond is not formed in that window of time, the opportunity may slip away, or the ritual must be repeated.  Spells for fidelity can influence circumstances and behaviours to promote such choices but they remain conscious choices of the individual’s involved, unless we are talking about complete mind control and alteration of a person’s true character and morals. That is another story entirely…

Break up spells can allow escape to the sister, mother or friend who is in a violent relationship from which she cannot seem to break free. It is mostly however, performed by jealous or bitter exes who do not wish to see their former partner move on, or opportunists who wish to seduce one party within the couple.

The best love Magick that we can do is on ourselves.  If we have true love and respect for ourselves, we will teach others how to treat us.  We will recognize the love we deserve when we find it and we will have the self-respect and self-love to sever attachments that no longer serve our greatest good.  For women in particular, working with the dark Goddesses such as Hecate, Lilith and Astarte can help us build self-love and respect.  Working with these goddesses can help us see our own beauty and our value more clearly.

For those who wish to find love, I advise an open mind when seeking help from the Gods. Ask that they remove obstacles between you and your soulmate and allow you to manifest true love and happiness, rather than stipulating that this must come from a specific individual.  If said individual is the one who will bring you the happiness and love that is meant for you, then the ritual will bring you together. If not, that person will be removed from your life and the right person will come at exactly the right time.

Sometimes the spirits and the Gods do not give us what we want, they give us what we need, for happiness yes but most importantly for spiritual growth.  One day, we will understand it, and be thankful, even for the pain, but most of all, for the lessons.  If you would like to learn more about love spells, contact me for a consultation, tarot reading, or check out my rituals for hire here: Love and Lust Spells – Scottish Witch

Spiritual Protection & Blessings in Disguise

I think about life as being a bit like a river, with a current and a flow, in a direction that is determined by natural laws. As we navigate our way along this river, the main body of water can branch off into smaller streams going in different directions, but ultimately flowing back to the main body of water and the source. Similarly, the choices we make in everyday life can take us in different directions and we will have different experiences and learn lessons depending on the directions we choose. Most people will live their life floating along their own personal river, being pulled in the direction the current takes them.

When we practice witchcraft, we take control of our direction. Not content with simply floating, we swim, and we paddle, often against the current, gaining the ability to create new streams and pathways and choosing our direction. When we enter Demonic Pacts and build close relationships with spirits, we are entrusting that they will guide us in the direction that will allow us to live authentically and fulfil our purpose. Often, we ask for protection and guidance from them. As such, we must understand that their methods may take us by surprise but there is always a reason behind them. They may alter the river’s current and the direction of the wind to guide us along streams that we would not automatically choose. They may cause us to lose our paddle and feel abandoned, free floating towards murky waters when in fact, they have just diverted our route from heading straight for a treacherous waterfall that would have killed us. These events, which range from minor inconveniences to major disruptions and apparent catastrophes in our lives are what I consider ‘blessings in disguise’ from the spirit world.

I have lost count of the number of times that things haven’t gone to plan, only to soon discover that the plans I had, would have led to an unpredictable horror. The bad service in the restaurant that caused my family and I to leave early, narrowly missing flash floods and overturned trucks on the freeway that we would have collided with – had things gone to plan. The infuriating lack of available flights on the date I wanted to travel, which was the very date featured in local news soon after, in which the airport was on full lock down due to the presence of a suspected gunman.

I’ve learned to trust that when we have a purpose and we enter into a pact or spiritual agreement with ancient Gods and Goddesses to protect us on our journey, we are handing over some of the control and a great deal of trust in their influence over our life’s journey. As a result, there is a feeling of safety and peace in knowing that we are being guided and even the worst things in life, can turn out to be a blessing in disguise.

Ritual for the Worm Moon Friday 18 March 2022

Every full moon is unique and as such, brings a unique opportunity to manifest something unique in your reality. By working with the moon, we are, magickally speaking, swimming with the tide and taking advantage of the power of nature.
This month’s full moon falls on Friday the 18th March and is known as the ‘Worm Moon’. It is thought that the March full moon is named this because it is the time of year when the soil thaws from the cold winter and the worms begin to come out of the earth after the rains.
Symbolically, March’s full moon sends the powerful message that this is your world and you’re needed in it. Your individual energy is needed in this world. It is a time to embrace all that makes you unique and stand firm in your power.
Join me in taking advantage of this powerful full moon, to burn away anything in your reality that is holding you back and restricting you from achieving your greatest potential! The full moon will be in Virgo, a sign of organization and achievement. This is a great opportunity to focus on eliminating bad habits and negative influences and stepping into our own power to achieve our dreams and create our realities ahead of the Spring Equinox.
I will be performing a ritual to banish all that does not serve me, by listing it on paper, burning it and blowing it into the atmosphere. I will then visualize planting the seeds of the things that I want to grow in my life as the power of the worm moon provides the fertile conditions for that which will serve my greatest good. I will focus on what I think those things might be but leave room for that which I cannot anticipate or predict.
I would like to offer this as a group ritual. If you would like to be included, it will be $40 per person. You can pay at
Once you have paid for your space, please message me with your full name, date of birth and a summary of the things you would like to eliminate from your life and what you would like to make room for and enhance, this full moon. I will write each person’s petition up and burn it as part of the ritual and send you a video clip of your petition being added to the cauldron. I will send these to each person on Saturday 19 March 2022.

Anthropomorphism of the Gods

Anthropomorphism is the attribution of human characteristics or behaviors to an animal, object of a god.  I have observed this prevalent in the Occult, as we depict Daemons as male or female, taking on a human aesthetic and believing them to possess human characteristics.  When I first began working with Lucifer, I remember feeling concerned that I would displease him somehow, by moving on to a pathworking with another Daemon.  I was worried that he would feel hurt, offended or even jealous.  I was still in the mindset of the Catholic upbringing I’d had, where I’d learned that I could upset or offend a deity.  That a place in the good graces of God was conditional upon my adherence to the rules stipulated by the Church and my repentance of sins.  Expressions such as ‘Jesus wept’ would embed themselves deeply in my psyche, causing me to believe that I could cause emotional pain to a deity through my actions.

My perspective shifted when I started working with Belial and learned that this was not a conscious decision I had made, but part of a path on which Lucifer was guiding me.  It was a natural progression to work with Belial, as my next teacher on this path.  I realized then that it is narrow minded of us to believe that any ancient God, Deity or Daemon would feel ‘jealous’ or ‘offended’ by us choosing not to work solely with them.  To me, this is a bit like believing the wind would be jealous of the rain or the sun jealous of the moon.

Each Daemon is a very ancient source of power and energy, which we tap into through ritual, pathworkings and pacts, to enhance our own abilities and life experience.  It is a mutual exchange of energy.  As we dedicate time, offerings and share our experiences of working with these entities, we offer them our time, energy and respect.  There are some who believe that Daemons are jealous and possessive.  That they not only resent us working with other entities, but that they restrict us from our human relationships, like a possessive partner.  In my opinion, there is not only delusional but incredibly narcissistic.  We will get out of our relationships with these entities what we put into them absolutely.  The more time we dedicate to learning about them, working with them and sharing our knowledge the stronger the connection will be.

To disrespect them or fail to fulfil our promises under a pact will certainly weaken the relationship and may have negative consequences on us.  To think that they will actively prevent us from forming relationships with others (human or God) is, in my opinion, egotistical and ridiculous.  At the end of the day, we don’t choose to work with them any more than we control the weather or the brightness of the stars.  They decide. They choose.  If and when it’s time for us to connect with them, they’ll let us know.

Witchcraft Called Us

Do you believe in fate? Many like to believe in fate, in destiny, as a romanticized idea that we can never stray too far from the right path. That we need not stress over taking responsibility for our thoughts, actions, and the worldly reactions to our choices, because all will be well.  We comfort one another with expressions such as ‘What’s for you, will not pass you by’ and ‘what’s meant to be, will be’.

Conversely, some prefer the comfort of believing that there is no such thing as fate, as to believe in fate would be to give up the reigns of control over one’ path and one’s future.

As a Witch I challenge the idea of ‘fate’ head on, by using magick to manipulate the reality around me and bring forth my desired changes in the world. Yet I find myself wondering whether I am really paving the path ahead of me, or simply following breadcrumbs laid out by the entities I work with.

You see, every time I believe I am navigating, the signs appear to tell me that the path I’m walking has existed long before me and is simply waiting for me to catch up.

As I sat to write this blog, I had a firm intention. It is March 1, and I would write about the significance of this date in relation to the Salem Witch trials. I created my heading and collected the information on my chosen topic. On March 1, 1692, in Salem Massachusetts, the first interrogations began, in what would become known as the infamous ‘Salem Witch Trials’. Now, of all the articles I could have opened, my eyes were drawn to one that mentioned the ‘Gallows Hill’.  This stunned me for a moment as I considered that this is the name of the hill in the north of Scotland, where I spent all my childhood vacations. It was indeed a hill where the gallows once were, yet I had always associated this with criminal executions and never once considered the link between gallows and witch trials.

This led me to think less about the topic I had intended exploring and more about the uncanny phenomenon of what the scientific minded would describe as ‘coincidence’.

As I pondered this, my cat jumped onto the table and walked across my computer keyboard. His little paw pressed the keys and he manipulated the text in front of me.  I had typed the following words:  More than 150 men and women in and around Salem were jailed on charges of exercising “Certaine Detestable Arts called Witchcrafts & Sorceryes.”

My cat, somehow deleted part of this text, merging the next sentence with the last, therefore manipulating the paragraph to read: “Certaine Detestable Arts called Witchcrafts & Sorceryes.” called d us.

Certain detestable arts called witchcrafts called d us….

Called us.

Now for anyone dim-witted enough to assume I am claiming my cat has some kind of magickal touch-typing ability, let me clarify.  What I am referring to here is the act of ‘coincidence’ that leads to a sign or message that should not be ignored.

For me, the message is clear.  Witchcraft called us. We did not choose it; we did not call upon it and neither did the witches who were hanged and burned.  Witchcraft called them. Magick beckoned to them come closer. It is a living and very conscious life force in its own right. It is the Lion that we kid ourselves into thinking we can tame, but truth be told, with every act we risk destruction. Yet it is worth the risk. It is worth the trials and the punishment we receive. It is worth risking everything for, because it makes us feel alive, being so close to death and living to tell the tale. It makes us feel like the God of our own destiny, that we can not only star in, but write, direct, and edit the story of our life. We can refuse to settle for that which fails to serve us and pursue something greater.

The detestable and delectable art of witchcraft called us…and so we follow.

The Black Arts

Black Magick.  Occultism.  The Black Arts.  There are many names for what we do, what we are, and what we experience walking the left hand path but no words can really encompass all that it is.

Black Magick contains elements of many disciplines including science, psychology, philosophy and numerology, but I believe is best likened to one of the Arts.  Consider any of the classic Arts: painting, literature and music to name a few.  All are human-specific acts of creation and expression.  All unique, serving to stir emotions, provoke reactions and influence change in our mood and the world around us.  Each movement, such as Impressionism, the Renaissance or Art Nouveau, or is initiated by one and followed by many, each putting their individual stamp on a common theme.

Likewise, each magickal discipline can be walked by many, but the footsteps that are taken and the footprints that are left will always differ.  One pathworking, one spell, followed to the letter by two practitioners, will yield comprise of a different experience and yield different results.  Each will infuse the spell or the working with their own essence you see, their own signature energy and vibration.  Their own experience and intention.  Just as a piece of transcript music will be played differently by different musicians.

In each of the arts, there are two elements contained in the mastery of the subject:  Experience and natural ability.  A person can study their chosen instrument for years, or decades, with hours of study and practice, tutoring from experts and never have the natural flair of a child who picks up the instrument for the first time and simply feels an affinity to it.  One can take art lessons and never progress beyond amateur results, while another may find that expressing their deepest feelings and thoughts on canvas is the most natural thing in the world.

Magick, similarly is something than can be studied and harnessed over years.  There are techniques, methods, and secrets that can lead to mastery of for the practitioner.  Yet it is foolish to assume that experience equals power in the black arts.  Armchair Occultists may possess great knowledge on the subject intellectually but lack the control over their emotions to perform a ritual and yield results.  A novice on the other hand, may have a natural ability that gives them an advantage of unimaginable power, whether they understand it or are even aware of it.  Indeed, this power may not just be the result of this lifetime, but of many incarnations.  It may be a gift inherited through a bloodline or mastered in other lifetimes.  It may be both.

It is bothersome for me therefore, when Occultists new to the ‘community’ are looked down upon and underestimated.  Moreover, it is at best foolish and at worst dangerous to underestimate another Occultist as we know not which entities are protecting them, as they walk the left hand path.

Magick, like the arts, is a way to express and create change in the world.  It is the cause that produces the effect, whether a creation of beauty or something to make the onlooker recoil in horror.  It is a way of shaping the reality around us and expressing our deepest most intimate feelings.  The impression that we make through magick will outlive us and be our legacy.  It will tell the story of who we were and effect generations beyond us.  Each creation therefore must be carefully considered before it is birthed and unleashed upon the world.

Reading the future of a Vampire! a client review of my Tarot readings by N.D. Blackwood

Reading tarot for clients is always a privilege which I hold sacred.  Being in the trusted position of standing in the gateway between past present and future and interpreting the guidance of the spirits is not something to be taken lightly.

It was an honour to read tarot for my fellow Occult Author N.D. Blackwood recently.  N.D. Blackwood is the author of Draugadrottin: Lord of the Undead.  The book sold out in record time! You can find out more at:

Draugadrottinn: Lord Of The Undead | N.D. Blackwood | Become A Living God

This is what N.D. Blackwood wrote following my reading:

“During my all career as a magician, I have rarely been impressed by readings of any sort. Most practitioners tend to only give you general indications that could pretty much be valid for anyone undertaking the consultation, and when you try to enter the details of your problem, they lose themselves.
My experience with Zeraphina Angelus was the fist time someone was really able to describe my situation with details that could not be explained by other means that the supernatural. During our consultation Zeraphina was able to find the weak points in my life and offers a realistic and precise vision of the future, based on my own choices.
I could not  recommend her enough.”

N.D. Blackwood

About my Tarot readings: I have been reading Tarot since I was 13 years old.  I determine the spread I will use depending on the answers my client is seeking.  I connect with my spirit guides during readings and trust in them to give me answers, insights and guidance.  I consider the universal meaning of each card but also connect with the images intuitively.  They act as a prompt which triggers images and messages, a sense of just ‘knowing’ what is going on for my client and what I need to tell them for their greater good.

The Pagan origins of Valentines Day

As valentines day approaches, I was reflecting on what this day means to me personally, my memories of it over the years and what it means to others.  When I was a young child at Catholic school, I loved and hated valentines day.  Every year, on this date, the 14 February, my teacher would encourage us to create an anonymous valentines card for our person of choice within the class.  The girls would then be taken out of the classroom  and wait patiently while the boys placed their cards on their chosen girl’s desk, and then the girls would do the same for the boys.  Some lucky boys and girls would come into the classroom to find a pile of cards on their desk, with scribbled hearts and poems, signed “luv from ???”.  Other kids would return to face an empty desk, and the humiliation and sadness of an early taste of future valentines days to come.  The pressure,  the expectation, the celebration of the popular and the isolation of the undesired.  I did not feel pretty as a child but blossomed as a teenager, never quite understanding why boys suddenly started taking an interest in me.  Conversely, the cute kids seemed to go the opposite way, getting to a point where the looks that they had relied on to get them everything, faded away.

Valentines day can be beautiful for those in love and incredibly isolating for those or are alone, or in a relationship in which they might as well be.  I remember during my marriage, looking around at the couples in the restaurant and noting the stark contrast between those lit up by each others presence and those who looked like they wished they were anywhere else.

Some believe that Valentine’s Day is celebrated in the middle of February to commemorate the anniversary of Valentine’s death or burial—which probably occurred around A.D. 270.  Others claim that the Christian church may have decided to place St. Valentine’s feast day in the middle of February in an effort to “Christianize” the pagan celebration of Lupercalia a fertility festival dedicated to Faunus, the Roman god of agriculture, as well as to the Roman founders Romulus and Remus.

To begin the festival, members of the Luperci, an order of Roman priests, would gather at a sacred cave where the infants Romulus and Remus, the founders of Rome, were believed to have been cared for by a she-wolf or lupa. The priests would sacrifice a goat, for fertility, and a dog, for purification. They would then strip the goat’s hide into strips, dip them into the sacrificial blood and take to the streets, gently slapping both women and crop fields with the goat hide. Roman women welcomed the touch of the hides because it was believed to make them more fertile in the coming year. Later in the day, according to legend, all the young women in the city would place their names in a big urn. The city’s bachelors would each choose a name and become paired for the year with his chosen woman. These matches often ended in marriage.

To mark the celebration of Valentines Day, and Lupercalia I am offering a promotion on my love magick rituals for hire.  Whether you are looking for a sweetening spell to encourage feelings of love and positivity towards you from a specific person, an obsession spell to make your desired think only of you or a ritual to draw your soulmate into your life, my rituals can help you to manifest what you desire.  Contact me for specific details of what is available and the discounts that apply this month.

Scottish Witch

Zeraphina Angelus from scottishwitch.com interviews E.A. Koetting on his evolution as a spiritual pioneer, the positive impact of his project Become A Living God, and Becoming a Living God’s coming shift of focus towards embracing the Divine Feminine currents.

SW:  For the lay person, who doesn’t know a lot about magick, how would you describe your belief system and practices?

EA: The most general yet still accurate description of my work is as ‘practical spirituality.’ As we listen to the symphonies of every spiritual path, we can notice that the differences between them are dwarfed by the gravity of the messages that resound through all of them. Of course, embedded into these systems are sociological control mechanisms that have been and still are quite useful, there are standards of living and being that we have in common, but there is something much more important happening in spirituality than social cohesion and civic accountability.

Spirituality, religion, and the supernatural have always been my fascination, but I’ve found the most meaning and value in the specific methods, practices and principles, which, if practiced, do produce tangible, positive, and often life-changing shifts in our lives. Whether we’re talking about prayers, rituals, amulets, casting spells, or communing with our gods, these spiritual practices are tools, pieces of technology passed down to us from before recorded time, so that we can better master ourselves, better manage our circumstances, and so we can interface directly with other dimensions of our reality.

Long before humanity had invented the wheel, our ancestors engraved idols and talismans to facilitate fertility, to provide a bountiful hunt, to heal the ill and wounded, and to make contact with supernatural entities and forces. These are very real powers and very real entities, and their presence and effect is stunningly obvious, once we learn how to interact with them. The use of magickal ritual and tools to effect change in the world and the self mysteriously emerged and spread through mankind, not as a passing curiosity, but as a necessary element in the successful outcome of any important venture. Our species had discovered a tool so important that every civilization that survives implements spiritual practices into the foundations of their empires. Today, ancient magickal symbols are obvious in nearly every public square, incorporated into brand logos, and printed on currency. Magick is everywhere, but we’re only now able to have meaningful conversations about it.

My work is to act as a lightning rod, to thrust myself into every spiritual path that pulls me, and then I get to work dismantling the system as it transforms me, understanding the mechanisms of transformation by stepping into it with everything I’ve got. What I’m able to do with that in a way that brings value to others, is I am able to reverse engineer the practices, discover what specifically each spiritual practice does, and how anyone with any or no experience can use that specific practice with reliable and sometimes miraculous successes. I have witnessed miracles that I cannot deny, nor can I explain. But what I can do – and what I feel I am meant to do – is share my experiences, and in doing so I have helped countless people transform their lives in some of the most unbelievable ways.

SW:  So many people aspire to be spiritual teachers and authors. Do you remember when you first realized that you could not only make a living doing what you love but be very successful in it?

EA: To be honest, that’s something I feel just about every day, and I’m stunned by it. It humbles me that my message, the practices that I teach, and the principles that I espouse are so valuable to so many people. I am amazed, but not very surprised. From the moment I was born, the chips were all stacked against me, and by four years old I was not expected to survive, to walk straight, or to feed myself, and all of my ‘support systems’ facilitated and encouraged that belief, that I would be lucky to make it to adulthood, at best. I wouldn’t accept that. I pushed myself to walk, to run, to do cartwheels on the lawn, and to do help others. There is nothing at all as satisfying as being able to help someone because I have developed a skill or a strength, because I pushed myself.

Again, to be completely candid, the negative and abusive language spoken and shouted about me and to me throughout my childhood makes it sometimes difficult for me to even notice when I am successful. I sometimes have to struggle with difficult thoughts and feelings of unworthiness or even worthlessness, and in those moments I can judge myself as a complete failure, regardless of the evidence. There is likely additional complication in the reality that I don’t measure my success by the standard metrics of income or production output, but in the change for the good that my message creates in the lives of others.

I’m very actively engaged in working through the core of those sorts of unhelpful beliefs and self-criticisms, though, so most of the time I’m overflowing with gratitude and living my purpose, but sometimes I need to be reminded to take inventory of my life and my work for me to see the impact that I am having.

In my earliest spiritual or religious experiences, I found myself turning to spiritual practices for a sense of hope, as impossible at it might seem. As I investigated and experienced every supernatural, mystical, and transcendent practice, it didn’t take long at all before the evidence was abundant and consistent that specific practices produce mysterious results in the physical world. I began charting my map of experiences, finding the exact methods that produce reliable results in the real world, and I had in my hands a tool by which I could navigate any problem with predictable otherworldly guidance and power.

As soon as I could see that I was on to something, around 15 years old, I couldn’t keep myself from sharing it with anyone who would listen. From the very start of my journey to this very day, a predicable percentage of people instantly reject or ignore my message, but there is also a very reliable percentage of the population who lean in with curiosity, allow themselves to accept the possibility of the fact that magick is real and that here is how you do it, and every single person who earnestly engages in these practices is thereafter changed for the better.

Through my lifelong struggle to find, understand, and communicate these powerful spiritual practices, I’ve been dumbfounded by the fact that there are specific practices capable of unlocking our ability to steer our own personal evolution and to harness reality at the program-code level… and nobody was really talking about it. Until the last century, all occult information has been hidden from the masses, hoarded away by church and state while torturing and executing practitioners of the most ancient faiths. These practices are so powerful that if everyone knew that they could access godhood within, and thereby have greater control over their own lives, there would be no need for church or state. These secret rituals and simple spiritual methods were often difficult to discover and to record, usually kept behind walls of initiations into secret orders, blood oaths, and other devices meant to hide our own power from us.

The same tenacity I had as a child to overcome my own bodily limitations was instrumental in learning every secret practice, sharing it with anyone who wanted it after I had picked it apart, experimented with it, and proven its value in my own life.

What has surprised me the most is that these strange and sometimes insane experiences are validated by more people than I imagined possible. I believe that our species is on the cusp of an evolutionary leap that will encompass all aspects of the human experience, and becoming intentional operators within the spiritual realms as physical beings is at least a step in that evolution, if not the total expected outcome itself.

SW:   When you first started Become A Living God, what were your visions for it’s future and did you ever imagine how huge it would become?

EA: My mission objective with Become A Living God was and is simple: Upload all of my spiritual insights, teachings, practices, and principles to the internet. I have a few motivations behind this. What I have learned has been of irreplaceable value in my life, and magick has allowed me to do the impossible, and I am uniquely capable of teaching others how to have their own transformative experience with these practices. I can and do share my experiences and understandings to my daughter, friends, and as always, to anyone who will listen, but I also accepted that I am going to die, and what I’ve learned is simply too important for our species and for every person that I couldn’t allow what I’ve learned to die with me. At first, I felt like I was just using the internet to store my books, ritual videos, instructional videos, vlogs, interviews, and every resource
I could collect or create, with the hopes that a few people might find it valuable.

We intentionally launched Become A Living God with the ethics of freedom, individuality, and power as our core cultural ethics, represented in our straightforward model of making all of my knowledge available to anyone, anywhere, through which they could practice some of the most sacred, secret, and powerful rituals, if they wanted, when they wanted, from the comfort of their own homes, without ever having to sign a pact or join a cult.

I was very intimidated by filming myself in ritual, but overcoming that obstacle was the true gamechanger. A few figures over the last century have been filmed and photographed in staged ritual, but absolutely no footage existed of real rituals being performed live on camera, but it is essential to show how the ritual is done, how to bring it all together, and what my experience of full spiritual contact is like.

I expected to be mocked and ridiculed, and I was especially afraid that exposing my most sacred and magickal moments to the world would lead to a public consensus that my life’s passion and meaning is foolishness or insanity.

I was and am amazed at how many people from every background have validated and verified the truth and utility of my teachings, after having their own spiritual secrets validated and encouraged by my work. Since starting this project in 2012, the world has changed for the better because of it, by every single person who is curious enough to actually try it.

I am amazed at how hungry so many people are for spirituality with substance, with magick that they can be certain of, and with a spiritual path that is 100% theirs!

SW: What are the main areas of focus / projects you’re working on at BALG presently and in the near future?

EA: Over the last few years Become A Living God has shifted almost exclusively to collaborative works, pooling the knowledge, experiences, and unique perspectives of a collective of artists and authors. While humanity’s competitive spirit has helped us achieve so much, we have to understand that the models that worked well for the industrial revolution will not serve us as well as the current revolution/evolution unfolds. The force multiplier created by great numbers of people doing what they are told is impressive, but it has nowhere near the potential power of individuals cooperating equally and uniquely towards a shared vision.

For the last 10 years, I have filled our catalog and video platforms with books, video courses, pathworkings, rituals, consultations, and physical goods largely by myself, with an occasional release by a guest author. Even though I was perfectly content hogging the spotlight, it was clear that I was my greatest limitation, in how much I could accomplish with my time and energy, but even more significantly, the quality and value of my message itself was limited to my sole perspective, based on my personal experience of each spiritual practice, while at the same time we were receiving an unmanageable amount of submissions from authors and magicians with priceless contributions in the very topics and systems that I wanted to explore.

We committed to a full trial of collaborative projects in 2018 with a 3 year ‘Nine Demonic Gatekeeper’ project of nine releases, each bundling videocourses, books in hardcover and leather, live rituals, and physical products like altar cloths and talismans, with each new release in the series dropping two or three times a year. What our trial showed us increasingly with each release is that cooperation allows us to do more, to do better, and to make our united message more accessible.

Become A Living God just announced our new “World Domination Series” with “Spellbook One: Love Spells” in leather and hardcover, 5+ hours of videocourse material, by Rose Crowley, Maggie Moon, and myself, E.A. Koetting. The World Domination Series is focused on spellcasting, binding, sealing, and manifesting significant successes in every avenue of your life. I’m currently working on Spellbook Two: Wealth & Abundance Spells,” with several more titles planned for the future.

I am also working on a separate compendium altogether called Goblincraft, but I can’t say too much as this one is a ways down the road.

Lastly, a good deal of my focus is being driven towards the integration of spirituality with technology through a variety of existing technologies, as well as unique tech that I am developing through my own independent research and development company. Several products and product lines will emerge from these technological innovations.

The collaborative spark has already extended far beyond work I contribute to, though, as some of the most talented authors and skilled spiritual guides are working on several visionary projects.

What really has me most excited is the rise of the Goddess. Looking around the world, we can see a devastating absence of the goddess, in courtrooms, public offices, corporations, entertainment, and even in too many homes, the Goddess has not been present, has not been honored, and in many cases has not even been invited.

My perspective, in this incarnation, has been locked into a male perspective biologically, socially, etc., but I also have to admit that the lack of the Goddess in the world may be at least somewhat my own projection, as the women in my lives have either been absent, or abusive. This is a challenge for my relationships with women as whole, and I feel like it has been a serious barrier in understanding the Goddess and even knowing how to begin to surrender myself to Her.  But the Goddess is rising!

SW:  Tell me about your vision for incorporating the Divine Feminine current into BALG.

EA: I’m proud to have created a business and inspired this movement, now 10 years into it, not because of what it has done for me or my ‘brand’, but because we have created a space, a culture, and a corporation that rewards courageous innovators. It is absolutely rewarding when I teach someone something that is going to benefit them for the rest of their lives; to have. Inspiring, encouraging, supporting, and promoting other creators in doing that is a much deeper level of fulfilment and contribution.

I believe that this is the best way that I can incorporate the Goddess into Become A Living God, to inspire, encourage, support, and promote the Living Goddesses amongst us who are much better qualified than I to bring the message of the various goddesses, divine and diabolical, to the world.

One of the first authors to publish through BALG besides me was Asenath Mason, the most devoted and adept Sorceress in the world, and we have published volumes of her material, much of which does exalt the Goddess directly.

When I say that ‘The Goddess is rising,’ I don’t simply mean that we’re scouting females to participate in projects to offset a gender equation or anything silly like that. What I mean is that the actual Goddess, in all of her forms, is merging into our reality now stronger than ever, and those who embody these goddesses are receiving exactly what needs to be transmitted, and in addition to my excitement in being able to help bring these projects to the world, I’m also eager to learn everything that they have to teach me! In fact, you may have a better idea of what the Goddess has in store, as you’ve been at the front lines organizing some of these Dark Goddess compendiums. What can you tell me about them?

SW: We have some very exciting plans to incorporate the Goddess into Become a Living God.  I am currently co-authoring the first in a series of books on Dark Goddesses from different cultures.  The first in the series focuses on the Celtic Dark Goddesses and will feature Maggie Moon as co-author.  This is a project close to our hears as I am Scottish, with Irish heritage and Maggie also has Scottish and Irish roots in ancestry.  We are almost at a point of completion and will announce details of the release of the Celtic Dark Goddess book in 2022. The compendiums will include history and background to each Goddess but also our own unique pathworking experiences, gnosis and personally created rituals.

EA: Thank you so much for the opportunity for this exchange, and I am grateful for your time and for your thoughtful questions!

Sincerely,

E.A. Koetting

Manifesting Wealth with Clauneck

How do you feel about money? Sounds like a silly question perhaps but think about it for a moment.  When you think of your financial situation, what do you feel? Do you feel excited about new opportunities for abundance? Do you feel secure in the knowledge that money flows to you easily and consistently? Or do you feel worried and unsafe, with a mindset of scarcity and ever mounting expenses?  Do you find yourself cowering from mounting debts or feeling deep down that you don’t deserve to be wealthy and so you fritter money away whenever it comes to you?

The biggest change that you can make to help yourself manifest the wealth you desire, is to change the way you think about money and the relationship you have with it, thereby changing your work ethic.  Clauneck can help you to do this and with his help, become an unstoppable force in manifesting wealth!

Clauneck is a Demon of Wealth and can help you to manifest riches through a multitude of sources.  He asks only that you approach him with respect and that you are willing to put in the work necessary to create wealth.  When carrying out my wealth ritual with Clauneck for clients, I always ask them to consider the source of their wealth.  Do they have a new job and wish for a pay rise or promotion? Are they passionate about a hobby or talent that could be turned into a small business? Are they already in business and looking to upscale and make powerful new business connections? Clauneck expects us to pull our weight and will not make money materialize out of thin air as we sit watching daytime television and feeling bitter about how well other people are doing financially.  Clauneck will help the smart planner, the hard worker and the passionate entrepreneur.  Put in the work and Clauneck will reward you.   You may also wish to create a Pact with Clauneck for long term wealth and abundance.  If you would like to know more about my wealth ritual or pact service with Clauneck, contact me at contact@scottishwitch.com
